At Veterans Choice Home, we are trained to work with all common commercial and residential roofing materials, such as those listed below. We are GAF and Owens Corning certified.
Asphalt Shingles
Asphalt is the classic choice for roofing because it is cost-effective, flexible, and easy to maintain. Asphalt shingles are fire-resistant and come in a wide range of styles and decorative patterns. The main downside of asphalt is that it is not as durable as some other kinds of roofing materials.
Metal Roofing
If you want a low-maintenance roof with a long lifespan, then metal is the go-to option. Metal roofs are incredibly durable and can easily last upwards of 50 to 70 years with proper care and maintenance. Treated metals are resistant to corrosion and are also extremely thermally efficient as they can reflect ambient UV and infrared radiation. The main downside of metal roofs is they are heavy and may require additional supports to install.
Synthetic Roofs
Synthetic roofs consist of membranes of flat synthetic material, such as PVC and EPDM. Synthetic membranes are extremely resistant to moisture and chemical corrosion and also are easy to clean and maintain. Many synthetic roofs are made from recycled materials, so they are ecologically friendly.

Everyone from Veterans associated with this project was outstanding. There was a glitch with the supplier in delivering the materials which arrived a day late. This caused a delay with the installation but Veterans handled it perfectly with sending in an extra crew to finish up the job which was not small. I couldn’t be happier with product and how nice the roof looks. Overall a beautiful job.

Veterans Choice deserves a huge shout for the quality craftsmanship and customer service provided when designing and building our board-on-board fencing around our back yard. They navigated low tree limbs on large trees, a landscaping bed on a hill with terrible soil, synthetic lawn and significant growling from our land piranha (aka Chihuahua). Ian answered all of our questions during the design and selection process, offered suggestions and photos for ideas, and even answered a question for us on a Saturday mid-installation. Lionel and his team were top-notch. They checked in with us when they had questions, were efficient, and incredibly respectful of our property. The final result is beautiful and we are excited to spend most of fall in our now-private backyard.
